Sisters Maebel and Hawzien Gebremedhin
Maebel and Hawzien Gebremedhin are two Tigrayan American sisters.
Born in Tigrayan refugee camps in Sudan during the 1980s, Maebel and Hawzien relocated to the United States as children.
Their life's mission is to contribute to ending the catastrophe currently happening in Tigray and ensure that the voices of Tigrayans resonate globally.
